Second Complementary Skills Course: Ghent. 25-26 June 2012

The second complementary skills course of the MIBISOC training network will take place in the Convention Centre “Het Pand” at University of Ghent on June 25th and 26th, 2012.

After the first complementary skills course, which held in Granada at the end of February 2011, this new edition will be an ideal training for the PhD final stage and future careers of the ESRs. This training courses deal with transverse and generic skills which complement the specific technical one they are receiving in the network. This second course includes the following modules:

1. Intellectual and Industrial Property, Exploitation and Technology Transfer;

2. Ethical Issues in Research;

3. Team Building and Negotiation;

4. Knowledge of the Global Scientific Market;

5. Management Methods.

The lecturers who will teach the course are all outstanding professionals in their areas of expertise and they have an important link with the private sector or are involved in it.
