From 17 to September 19, 2008 was held in the coalfields of Asturias (Langreo-Mieres) the XIV Spanish Conference on Fuzzy Logic and Technology. Its main objective is the flow of knowledge between research groups and to promote cooperation between them to carry out future projects and research, in order to facilitate the transfer of results to industry and other sectors of society.

With this purpose, 120 representatives of leading research groups in artificial intelligence techniques in Spain met in Asturias for three days in. The conference included nine regular sessions on theory and applications of Fuzzy Logic (Fuzzy Logic), and 12 special sessions organized by leading researchers in their respective areas.
