In order to complete the research line "Computing with words and perceptions" which involves two Units of the Centre, the ECSC launched in 2008 the cycle of seminars "Computing with Words and Perceptions," in which researchers from both Units set out the new outcomes and topics considered of interest. However, to make a qualitative headway in the development of the paradigm "Computing with Words and Perceptions" and to expand the scientific horizon of these sessions, in 2009 the Centre started to count on the participation of leading researchers in this field, coming from other international Centres and Universities, who are benefitting the seminars with other approaches and different subjects.
